Title: Strike Post by: Kintari on March 07, 2007, 03:19:33 PM Perhaps we should do the same thing Warriors did in EQ1 because their tanking was so sub-par to pally and SK tanking. They all banded togeather and refused to play their class until it was fixed (aka) they parked their butts in front of Freeport i believe and went AFK and refused to play the class till it got the attention it deserved. If they dont fix our class in the next week this may be the only thing that perhaps might get the dev's attention. Just a suggestion.
Title: Re: Strike Post by: Kyomi on March 07, 2007, 03:24:05 PM Why would they care about that :)
We still pay our subscriptions :-\ Title: Re: Strike Post by: Kintari on March 07, 2007, 03:33:34 PM Its a good deal of people obviously stating their disgust for the way things are going for their class in this game. The vast majority of people brought into this game post release is friends or hearsay of people that "like" the game and recommend it...Dunno it worked for warriors in EQ1 >:(
Title: Re: Strike Post by: Kyomi on March 07, 2007, 03:58:28 PM Quote The vast majority of people brought into this game post release is friends or hearsay of people that "like" the game and recommend it Not quite sure what this has to do with the actual problem. I think it would be silly to such an in game thing and I am sure the devs don't really care for such a thing (or feel more need to look at a class issue). As far as I could read there was a fair amount of feedback that was sent to the devs recently and if that is not enough, well then I am at a loss and might as well also start another class.. I for once am a new monk so I am still having faith in changes..it IS quite early after "release" however to be honest we all know that it was way too early and we are playing a beta we paid for. Title: Re: Strike Post by: Kintari on March 07, 2007, 05:18:01 PM Yeah pretty much...and it actually doesnt have anything to do with the issue the fact is if enough people show that they arent going to put up with a gimped class some things are bound to change. The people have a voice and it can be heard. If we all set around and said nothing at all i'm sure that they would do a lot less to correct these problems. You have to get out there and let them know your feelings and going on class wide strike is what those warriors in EQ decided to do and as far as i know it worked out for them.
Title: Re: Strike Post by: Shengyi Tsung on March 07, 2007, 05:27:38 PM Lets all chain petition/bug report!!! :tickedoff:
Lets just petition in game over and over and over again until they at the very LEAST post something on our boards about looking into the class. Nothing would get their attention more than a couple hundred petitions about monk bugs. Im totally for it! Title: Re: Strike Post by: kasimir on March 07, 2007, 05:33:48 PM Yeah I have been posting bugs ingame about the monk class not working as intended, A class, repeatable bug.
Feign = broken damage = broken defense = broken Not much working to tell you the truth. Title: Re: Strike Post by: Lomash on March 07, 2007, 05:36:20 PM An in-game gathering is a good idea, and I'm sure would attract attention to the cause.
