Title: Crit rate Post by: Keoki on February 12, 2007, 02:32:18 PM Since the patch, whats the better crit rate for weapon usage: 2 hand weapons (5+2.5 = 7.5%) or bare fist (unknown crit %) ? Title: Re: Crit rate Post by: Ample on February 12, 2007, 02:48:25 PM Crit rate on unarmed is that of fast weapons (a.k.a. 5% / 2.5%)
Title: Re: Crit rate Post by: Keoki on February 12, 2007, 04:37:05 PM For monks, the patch notes did explicitly state that. For disciples, they gave a very cryptic "slightly less" answer. Title: Re: Crit rate Post by: Morgul on February 15, 2007, 05:03:25 PM I am finding out the same thing i did with my monk. I really am doing more dmg with weapons then bare fists like everyone is talking about.

At lvl 13 I am working on about a 26 DPS with the weapons I am using. This is up about 3-5 points from using no weapons to 2 weapons (1 in each hand). The trick to using the DW is to make sure the off hand has the smaller or slower weapon in the off hand. You have to play with it to see which will get you a better DPS. I cheat by using the DroxUi which calculates it for you. Seems to work, though I am not sure if the DPS is correct, I can at least validate that I do more damage in the configuration that DroxUI states is the highest DPS. I have not tried any of the 2 hand weapons. One of the main reasons I play this class is for the h2h style and do not care for the weapons animation.
