Vanguard Monks

Anyone have any good quests for monk weapons? I've helped out with lots of tough quests with great rewards for every class EXCEPT monk/dsc. So I'm asking the monk community to help me and list some nice weapons I can go kill stuff for! BTW im almost a lvl18 Drunken mob so weapons lvl18 or higher plz.

Even if they did add a monk/dsc weapon quest it would be meaningless.  I hit level 17 tonight and got 2 brute claws (35-38dmg +16 dex).  I get a total gain of about 3dps and 32agi which is basically 2% crit chance.  They would have to make the weapon stats super crazy awesome for them to even be worthwhile.

Weaponless:    56.5dps 9.9% dex crit bonus
1 Brute Claw:   58.14dps 10.9% dex crit bonus
2 Brute Claws:  59.34dps 11.9 dex crit bonus

I agree, they need to make monk weapons much better.  Also, why cant they make graphics for the claws?  That would be cool.  I might actually want to equip them then if it looked like I was clawing into the mobs   :o

agreed, it makes no sense why Claw weapons dont have graphics.  of course then again the game doesnt even have helm graphics yet.....also why dont fist wraps have some kind of graphics too?

They are making the monk weapons better.. they just arent changing the stats of the weapons.  they are changing the stats of our fists instead.

The CIS questline gives a good claw wep and then a very nice bladed staff.  There is a quest out of river palace area that gives a nice handwrap wep too along with some nice bounty hunter armor that has hand-to-hand and one-handed increases on them along with dex and str.

Where, what is CIS. and the river place?
