Title: Does chosing your Style keep you from learning skills from other disciplines? Post by: Xusia on February 07, 2007, 04:03:22 PM When you choose your style at 15, are you no longer able to pick up the skills from the skills list that are in another discipline?

Title: Re: Does chosing your Style keep you from learning skills from other disciplines Post by: Akodo on February 08, 2007, 09:34:51 AM There have been a couple other posts about the abilities but I will summarize it again.
There are two different types of abilities. Discipline Abilities - Learned from the General Monk Class Trainers All monks get these. Even though they are currently listed as Dragon Discipline, Drunken Discipline, or Harmoniuos Discipline. Again, All monks get these. Includes FD and some AoE attacks. Mastery Abilities These are style dependant. Dragons only get Dragon ones. etc. There are only 3 or 4 that I have encountered so far(Akodo curses his current workload.). These are also self-taught through meditation and the style Aum ability. They are listed in other threads.
