Vanguard Monks

About the part where you have to find the Stone of Arakorr.  I can not find it for the life of me.  Quest text says to check NW of the quest npc but the tracker shows it is SE and I followed it SE and it took me into the ocean with no stones in sight and the tracker never got bigger to show that I was getting closer.  Then I checked NW of the npc but still could not find.  Anyways much help as to the location or area of the stone would be aperciated.

Stumbled into it on Kojan. It is near the outposts that warp you across the water near Magi Hold. About 10ft from the pass. It looks like a large tablet sticking out of the ground. Its a lvl15 5-dotter.

If you exit the building with Kiyo, with your back to that door, run straight ahead along the path. You should run right into it.

where did you get this quest and what level.. i have always wondered what that stone was for lol

Im stuck on the stone part. I attacked it and it basically killed me. How do you complet this part?

just did the quest yesterday eventually it will just say quest complet and the stone will stop attacking but you have to go all out on it

First:  Kill all wandering aggressive animals in the area; the stone will almost kill you and one hit by an animal will do the rest of the job the stone started.
Second:  Attack the stone and as you hit it, watch your life go down in big chunks.  That's one hard rock you're pummeling.
Third:  Wobble your way back to the Dragon Master.  /hail (or use the hail keybind) him to get him to talk to you again.

If you died once already for this quest, even if you've competed letting the stone wail on you, you need to abandon it and start it again.

I used FD just as it was about to kill me and got an update.
