Title: Some Newbie Questions about Monks: Stances, etc. Please help =) Post by: Vaevictus Asmadi on January 30, 2007, 07:03:48 PM Hi there,
I really would like to roll a monk but have a few quick questions for you guys... Stances: Okay I see you get to pick one at level 15. But I can't find any documentation about what each of them does. More importantly - can you switch between stances? Are you restricted to using certain skills while in the stance? Any info about the monks specifics would be absolutely fantastic and much appriciated =) Thank you! I choose Dragon Style, which has 3 stances Storm Dragon Stance - adds lightning damage on each attack (at level 21 its adding about 40-80 damage per hit) and should cost 1 jin every 4 seconds, altho currently its bugged and jin doesnt go down. Dragon Stance - just adds regen (doesnt seem to be any regen tho) Stone Dragon Stance - Adds armour (doubles it) and ads 40% damage reduction on fire/cold damage. Dont know what stances harmony and drunken get, perhaps someone else could post Title: Re: Some Newbie Questions about Monks: Stances, etc. Please help =) Post by: Akodo on January 31, 2007, 09:25:27 AM Harmony Style
Tiger Stance - 20% increase on chance to crit. Increase endurance costs by 50%. Harmony Stance - Regenerate Jin points slowly. Crane Stance - 20% increase to block, dodge and parry. X% reduction in endurance cost. -20% damage. I think X is 25% though it might be 50%. I will confirm from home unless someone beats me to it. Akodo [edit: missing percent symbols]
