Vanguard Monks

Hello all,

Does anyone have any information on whether the Dragon style monk quest is bugged in the latest (pre order) build?  I went to Kiyo and finished the first quest to get the marching orders from the Orcs on the beach.  He then sent me outside the output to beat on the Great Stone of Arakorr, which I completed.  However, when I go back to speak with him to turn it in, he will not speak to me.  There is a green shield with a check in it over his head, but no dialogue box will appear.

I tried dropping the quest and redoing it with the same results.  I have also /bug'ed it.  If anyone has any insight, I would appreciate it.  I am currently L15.  Thank you!

As a harmony monk, I can't say for sure. But my guildie is firing off lightning bolts as a true Dragon style monk so it is probably not bugged. I am assuming that you spoke with the guy in Khal and have arrived back in Kojan. All I can say is go over the quest log and read each one as you may be missing a branch quest. Not finding success after that, petition it. Not a stretch to believe this is just a problem for you. We have a Dreadknight who can not use the guild line. Weird.

I ran into the same problem, but did figue out a solution. If you target Kiyo and /hail him he will talk to you and allow you to complete the quest.

I finished my dragon quest, however I don't have any of the abilities that the ability page says are at level 15, Feet of the Fire Dragon I, for example.

You learn your Dragon Mastery abilities by using your meditation plus you Aum ability. These are self taught. Meditate up to 6 Jin then hit your Aum ability. This should be down 2 times at 15. :)

Ok thanks, is the aum ability just one in my list?  I had finished the quest right before I went to bed and glanced through my abilities, but I didn't see it, but it's possible I overlooked.

It's under your General skills tab, along with things like Auto Attack and Ranged attack.

Many thanks for this web site and this post specifically. I'm levl 17 and just got my dragon style because I thought the quest was bugged. Kiyo stlll doesn't respond and one has to /hail him to finish the last part of the quest. Thanks again!

For some reason I can^t accept the quest for the dragon style from Brithrax in Khal. I get the dialog and all but when I click accept it says "Unable to accept the quest".

I am lvl 15 and got sent here by the monk trainer in Blighted Land. Do I have to be 16 in order to do that step?

Nevermind, I think I figured it out. I wasn't aware that you are only allowed to have one delivery quest at a time.

ok i just did this last night after the retrieval of orders from orcs quest he handed me the aum and the stances for dragon...

didn't give me anything after that.. they hotfix this to be alot easier or did i just get a bugged version of the dragon style quests? >.<

when it went to my bar (the stances) it dropped my finisher kick off my bar.. bleh!

It's actually a bug with the Aum to learn new skills...When I use it, my finishers disapear and I have to relog to make them available again.
