Title: How Important is dex to a Drunken Monk? Post by: gang on March 23, 2008, 12:08:39 PM Im hearing alot of people say that INT is good for secret dmg and of course strenth overall is good. With the ability to reallocate stats would it be wise to dump dex for INT maybe?

1) Dex is important, its great, but honestly theres no point in putting extra points into it. Str>int> con/dex is how i went. I hve raid buffed 800 str 600 dex 500 int (im gettin higher baby) and i can finally top the dps charts and throw rogues out. Of course i requires me to get enough celerity procs off my armor and a decent bard, but its possible finally, no more getting benched for a druid! 2) Id put points into dex until t5. then get str>dex>vit armor or Dex>con>str armor. This is when i took my points out of dex and dumped them all into int. Secret of flame hits for 600 a tic out of raid and 2k-3k in a raid. Title: Re: How Important is dex to a Drunken Monk? Post by: Simonson on March 23, 2008, 01:20:28 PM This has been dicussed a few times since GU3, i believe the general consenus is:
Str>int>dex and for a raiding monk str>int>con Both dex and con are pretty substitutable, and you will get a good amount of dex from armour 90% of the time anyway.......and the crit/dodge/ranged dmg make too little difference imo. 300 dex or 500 dex - doubt you would see much difference in crits, if any at all. 300 str or 500 though - huge difference. So i prefer con for the extra HP + resist, for raiding they really do help.
